AutoPlay

Postby hbehner on 21 Apr 2019, 09:19

Starting AutoPlay takes channel sliders to full volume (a disaster waiting to happen). Is this going to be fixed? I didn't purchase Traktor because their response was "you shouldn't be using AutoPlay". Like I can man the mixer for 4 to 6 hours straight without ever stepping away.

Any other skins like CrossDJ 3.4?

Assume you use 3.4.x
It would be strange to not do this.
For Autoplay you want constant volume. The track analyses is a feature that balances to Line level to make all tracks sound with same volume.
The deck volume sliders are for mixing purposes. Not to set a 'general' volume for a deck. This you do with main (or if using an external mixer with the mixer).

Reducing volume in early stages of the audio routing means you loose (some) quality of the sound. Usually in the last step you have the amp to increase volume. The more volume the input has the more quality it has because the amp has to add less volume.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).
