Cross 4 beta test

I tested Cross 4 beta and some of my art work was missing from my music. Also the beatgrid were some what off and also some beatgrid tools were missing. My suggestion would be a stronger analysis of the music to get better grids for live drumming and older music. Finally streaming music is the future SoundCloud is good but Spotify would be much better because they have original version of the songs. I’n SoundCloud the original version won’t show up in your playlist when you open it in Cross DJ.

Hi Noss281,

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions, I will pass them along to the rest of the team.

Regarding beat grid editing, it is still in Cross DJ but the location has changed:

Also incase you didn't know you can double click on the player letter in two deck mode, to make one large player which is great for beat grid editing. You can also zoom in and out on the waveform with a mouse scroll.

Where is the button to "add beatgrid"? I'm very interested in the ability to set beatgrids for irregular temp tracks but I can't see this in the beatgrid editor????

Here's how you add a grid line but i can't find a way to delete a grid line.

I thought that was just adding a downbeat as each time I do it, it moves all the other beatgrids before it rather than stretching to allow for irregular tempos

Hi guys,

Just wanted to clarify that it is in fact the downbeat marker and I think what you want is an elastic grid for tracks that are not perfectly timed.

I have logged this as a request already but can bring it up again to make sure we prioritize it accordingly.
