So I moved my main.crossdb file, then loaded Cross, and my collection was gone, so I moved it back exactly to where it was.

But now, Cross won't see it at all, no matter what I do.

Is there some way I can edit the XML settings file to have it load again? It's all my cue points from years, so I'd be glad if they weren't gone forever.

First make a backup of your file.
After your initial move Cross likely created a new collection.
Now open the menu and select the original main.crossdb. It doesn"t matter where this is located.

The other important setting is the location of the analysis folder which is in Preferences.
