the plugin is not installed and there is no way to do it

there is no "install plugin" option in the GENERAL menu, only "locate VST plugin" -> gives request that there is no plugin and there was an installation error

so confusing...

how can I try the plugin before I buy the software?

Very sorry that this is happening with the Remixvideo demo! I have seen it reported this last week to the support email so I did let the team know and hopefully they can get a working demo uploaded soon.

Last night I uploaded the demo for Remixvideo pro and I'm having the same issue as cebolao. There still isn't an option that says 'install plugin'. I'm also using Windows 10. Is there a way to fix this problem yet?

The plugin goes by default into a folder (the name of which I don't remember right now). Possibly the same folder as Remixvideo program. Do a file search, it is there somewhere! then you can move the .dll file to your VST folder.

thanks for the response discoplex, but I spent an hour scouring my hard drive and the mixvibes folder (which doesn't have many files in it) along with folder containing the video files, and I'm 99% sure the .dll file wasn't downloaded with the demo. Its entirely possible I looked in the wrong folder or didnt search correctly, but if that's the case its silly to hide an essential file during a download.

I installed it now on my DJ laptop and the VST went into a default Windows VST folder that is

Program Files/Steinberg/VstPlugins

hi there, new user here. same issue. Need to test the VST ability on Windows 10 and I've reinstalled once already. no luck. anyone know how to test this in the demo?

any ideas paid for pro 4.2 but download has not VST options???

I'm having the same problem. No option to install VST and I can't find it on my hard drive..

Any suggestions?
