Hello,
my old PC laptop that I use for DJ with Cross on 2 CDJ-350 is suffering more and more, its fans run at max speed all time I use it so I prefer to anticipate and get a replacement.
I'm on a budget and the laptop will be dedicated to DJ with Cross so I'm OK to look into second hand laptop PC (or Mac if it makes sense economically but I'm very not familiar with MacOS).

So what are the spec I must ensure to have to be running Cross without any issue in all situation, including if possible playing video tracks with output on HDMI if it doesn't add too much spec for that.

Proc: i3 ? i5 ? which generation is minimum (knowing that it will probably be the GPU as well) ?
Memory: 4Gb is enough ?
Storage: SSD obviously but I can reuse it from my laptop
Screen: full HD, large enough to see (15" or more)
Anything else to look for ?

If your fans run at max and your CPU doesn't, try using a vacuumcleaner to take out the dust from inside your laptop. Some via the ventilation, and maybe via keyboard. So don't open up; just from outside.

For DJing specs don't matter to much. Though 4 gb mem is not to much nowadays.
If You will be doing VJing then Full HD is a bare minimum. UHD (4K) is getting more common. Not so much for your own screen, as the external 'monitor'.
For VJing 8gb will be OK if you don't use to much sample pads. However having the option to expand to 16 or 32 is likely something you want.
Similar to CPU. There isn't so much as a minimum for DJing. And for VJing the faster the better.
