Good Morning, i recent purchased a Ion discover DJ because i saw on the Cross DJ website that it was compatible.. when i tried to connect it i went back on the Cross DJ website only to notice it wasnt highlighted yellow.. meaning they dont have any instructions on how to connect the controller.. does that mean ts no longer compatible?

any MIDI controller is compatible of that generation.
In preferences you can select the controller in the MIDI tab.
