Hey support team,

hope you can help with my issue.
My setup:
Cross DJ 3.4.3 64 bit
Macbook pro 13" 2013 (MacOs 10.13.4)
Pioneer DDJ-SX

I have an issue when I use the DDJ-SX - Cross always crashes after a minute or so. The controller is working fine (it is selected in preferences - audio device and online in the MIDI settings) but when start mixing pretty much exactly after 40sec. or so the app completely crashes and the Apple Error report dialog shows up.
If it helps it also happened with Cross DJ 3.4.2 and the prev MacOs version.
I also have the checkbox ticked to send you anonymous data about usage of Cross.

Hope you can help me.

Cheers Ralf

Hi Ray-Kay,

Sorry you are running into issues with the Pioneer DDJ-SX and Cross DJ on your Mac.

Do you have the most recent firmware update installed from Pioneer?
https://www.pioneerdj.com/en-us/support/software/ddj-sx/

Also it noticed this:

"Mac OS users:
You don't have to install this driver. Mac OS standard audio driver will be automatically installed when your DDJ is connected to your Mac with a USB cable."

In some cases if the audio driver was not ever updated to 64 bit you will run into issues trying to use the sound card with the 64 bit version of Cross DJ. However since the DDJ SX is a core audio compliant device it should be okay on Mac.

Also if you can test and get Cross DJ to crash again please send us the crash report as a text file. You can either attach it here or send it to support@mixvibes.com

"Mac: When Cross crashes on Mac, a popup window stating the program closed appears. This popup window has a « Report » button. Once clicked, you should copy/paste the whole crash report (all the text) and send it to us."

Regards,
Adam @Mixvibes
