Hi,
I have just downloaded the remixvideo demo on Windows 10 64 bit and when I click on the the icon to open Remixvideo Demo it shows the initial screen and crashes immediately! I have treied the remixvideo download from the main website and the forum
What can I do to fix this.

system specs ,, might have issues if not adequate

Hi, I am running Windows 10 64 bit on an Lenovo Thinkpad T420 with an intel i5-2520M @ 2.50ghz
8gb of ram
Intel Hd Graphics 3000

is this too low to run Remixvideo?

the footer at bottom of my postings has the spec that i an running ,, hight cpu/gpu usage but runs ,,other than issues with recording ,so i dont know recommended specs ,,but can compare ,,not thinking the spec are a issue ,, tried running on a older aussie due core ,, struggled hard , could hold load ,, but still ran with slowdowns ,,

Sorry you are experiencing this crashing issue with the Remixvideo demo.

The minimum required specs are:
• 64-bit version.
• 2.0 GHz Intel Core i5.
• 4 GB RAM.
• Recommended: Windows 10 & dedicated GPU

So you should be okay there. The only potential issue is that you are using an integrated GPU. However, since Remixvideo only used the processor to handle everything, it shouldn't be causing this crash.

The main reason a dedicated GPU is reccomended is because integrated GPUs reserves some of the RAM of your machine, giving you less RAM to use in Remixvideo. The Intel HD 3000 should only be using about 512mb of your RAM so you should still have plenty left for Remixvideo.

If you haven't please try downloading the demo with a different web browser. There was an old issue (before my time with Mixvibes) where downloads were not working correctly in certain browsers. I have never noticed an issue with Chrome, so if you are using that browser it should be okay.

I will report this bug to the rest of the team to see if they notice a reason this crash would be happening.
