Importing Android packs to PC?

Postby Apollo_11 on 31 Jan 2018, 01:16

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, apologies if this topic has already been covered. I've been using Remixlive on an Android system for about a year and have downloaded a lot of sample packs from Google Play. I've now bought the PC version, and have a question...

Is it possible to use the Android packs on the PC, and if so, how do I do it?

Any help or suggestions would be most welcome, thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Steve

I don't think it is as the android and PC versions are handled by different vendors...

you could always use a file browser on the android system and copy the sample packs over using an SD card or something to that effect.

you have to manually set them up on the PC side though... but saves buying them twice :)

Hi Steve,

gakto2009 is correct and purchases do not sync automatically across Android and PC.

However if you have the Import/Export feature unlocked for Android, you can export a pack from the browser page (tap the 3 dot menu to the right of the pack title/info).

This will compress the pack into a .rmxl file (basically just a .zip) which can be automatically loaded into the PC version of Remixlive. The exported files will show up in Android/data/com.mixvibes.remixlive/files/Exports

Tried exporting from Android, no problem there, transferred files to PC OK, but tried numerous ways of importing / opening files to no avail, starting to think I've wasted my money :frown:
