Re-activating my MIDI controller after a PC refurb

Postby andy_phillips1 on 09 Jan 2018, 11:39

Hi All,

Ok I'm fairly new to this so go easy!. I have recently had to reload my laptop and re-install Mixvibe’s for the PC, but of course now it doesn’t recognise my controller or me, how do I re-activate my software so I can use my MIDI controller without paying twice?

Thanks Daniel,

Thats what i thought, is this the software or controller serial number?

I'm using the Cross DJ software for the PC with a cheap ION controller, i had paid for the full version so the MIDI controller worked but I had to reformat my laptop, do I have to pay again?

Thanks in advance. Andy

 heres where it get intresting
if you regerstered the software licence keys in the fourm then they would be saved
:?: if you bought the ion ddj bundel and still have the software serial#/licence key .. enter it in the fourm
if you purched the Cross DJ software the enter the licence key in the fourm , if it was a web purches then enter the e mail activation code in the fourm ,,
this might not be you solution ,,but will allow you to have access to the download section to up date ,, get latest version of software ,,
:?: question on solutions ,, dose the software installed work via key board/mouse ,, and what version ,, Cross DJ or crossdjle supplied with the controller :?:
in the MIDI tab of preferences ,,wghat MIDI map have you selected/hightlighted ..
is the on line green icon in the MIDI tab and does it blink while trying to use controller
