Hi All, newbie need help with setup

Postby Bisonbegginerdj on 02 Dec 2017, 20:02

Hi All,

I am a noob to digital DJ'ing and am having a nightmare with my headphones whilst using Gemini First Mix Pro and Cross DJ LE.

My set up is as follows :
Gemini first mix pro/ Cross DJ LE
Acer Aspire 5742 750gb 4gb ddr ram/Intel core i3-380m running Windows 7 pro
Cambridge Audio A1 integrated Amp
2x Mission 700 monitor speakers

I think I have problem with the set up as that I cannot preview tracks on headphones. The controller is recognised. I have gone to Cross DJ Preferences- Audio , the first drop down bar gives following options :
•Speakers (first Mix Pro master out)
•realtek digital output
•Speakers (First Mix Pro hphones out)

Then input option as normal
And then soundcard diagram .

I have tried everything and cant get any sound to preview in my headphones . Please help me its driving me nuts !!

Thanks

Hi and thanks for that, will have another go in a bit. I notice you say about the asio driver which I've downloaded and installed, but I was thinking ...do I need to change the settings on my laptops sound settings to incorporate this ?

Again ..big thanks . :D

Ahh....No I haven't used those as bought the controller online second hand on ebay , there was no installation disk just a piece of paper telling me to come on here to down load mixvibes Cross DJ le , dont know how to get into settings for Gemini soundcard . Have been onto gemini website and there are no downloads for install media , have also searched the web and cant find anything either..maybe this is the problem .
