when I look at the MIDI page in preferences, it shows an EKS Otus with 1.50, locked.
The only mapping I find online is 1.40.
As a licensed user, how do I unlock that 1.50 ??
I had the Otus working great with internal mixer, used my laptop for a different piece of software, and now I can not get anything to work.

Copy the 'locked' mapping using x2 button and you can select and edit the copy.

The lock is only to prevent a default mapping to be edited accidently.

whats the difference between a .mappings file and a .ini file and how are they used in Cross??
I would really like to use my Vestax TR1 or Reloop Beatmix version 1 with Cross if I could. I LOVE the mapping created for the Behringer CMD Studio 4A as it includes "gain" adjustments for each channel using the cue delete as a shift button. GENIUS.

mappings files can be edited manually if you like. However mistakes can make the file misbehave with the controller actions.

Ini files you should never touch unless instructed. It is ment for settings which are somewhat like registry settings.
