Hello all,
I'm struggling to record a mix from my turntables to my laptop via the Cross LE Mixvibes software.
I am a relative newbie so please excuse my ignorance on some things!
I have the following set-up:
- 2 Numark TT250 USB turntables,
- Allen & Heath Xone 23C mixer,
- Unpowered speakers connected to an amp
In order for the turntables to work with the amp, I have to connect them to the mixer via the Line input (I'm assuming the turntables have built-in pre-amps and so can't go in the Phono input).
When recording a mix through the Cross LE software, I'm setting up the preferences as per the link below:
http://www.allen-heath.com/media/Xone23C-Quick-Start-Guide_1.pdfThe problem is when I try and record the mix, one turntable can be seen by the software but when I move the Cross fader, I get a lot of reverberation (guessing because it's over-amplified).
My question is: what set-up in the preferences of the Cross LE software do I need to record my mix successfully?
Any help anyone can provide is much appreciated, and let me know if you need more info to answer the question!
Many thanks,
Sam
