mac denon 1700

hello I have a problem with Cross DJ jai a macbook pro with a mixer denon 1700 when I put it in usb I want to start the sound its starts to flash red

WHich Cross software are you using and which version.
Have you selected the right MIDI mapping in Preferences > MIDI?

What is your Mac OS version?

I just saw this on DJ Worx in a user comment

"Denon users, High Sierra 10.13 has broken support for further legacy hardware (X600, X1600 and X1700 mixers don't work since previous OS 10.12 Sierra): SC3900, MC6000mk1 and MC3000."

use the version os el capitan 10.11 I bought on Apple store the latest version Cross DJ

Letting us know this info will help to diagnose your issue.

Since you are running El Captain, OS incompatibility shouldn't be an issue.

Do you have the most current drivers installed for your X1700?
