U-Mix Control 2 BPM problem.

Postby r_beat on 14 Sep 2017, 22:49

Hi,

I'm having some troubles with Speed/BPM sliders. When I slide left BPM slider upwards, It controls both BPMs of two decks, also right BRM slider is blocked downwards (I'm sliding it, no response on software)
1. Tried different PCs (Mac/PC)
2. Different Cross DJ vers. (DJ LE 1.5.1, 2.x.x, DJ Free)

Help, please. :(

Free version has no MIDI support, so not to sure what you've tested.

Check in preferences> MIDI if you have the default mapping.

If you're using a current OS it would be worthwhile trying the Demo version. As the LE for the U-Mix Control Pro is getting outdated. If the Demo works you could consider purchasing the Cross DJ version.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Hello r_beat,

Check to make sure sync is not enabled.

Since the left slider is controlling both decks and the right is unresponsive, this might be the issue. If the left deck is the master and sync is enabled, it will be in control of the BPM for both decks.

If that isn't the issue, please check to see if you can use the U-MCP's pitch faders with a new empty MIDI template, or in a different program that accepts MIDI input. If it doesn't work correctly then I suspect it is a hardware issue.

Best regards,
Adam @Mixvibes
