Hi! I recently bought a SDJ 100 A1 controller off Ebay. It didn't come with the disc to download the software. How do I get the software in order to use my DJ controller? If anyone can help, that would be brill!

Since the version of Cross was a physical copy on an install disc, we have no way of keeping a record of which license would belong to which piece of hardware.

If the controller was used you will need to contact the seller on Ebay and ask them to send you the license that should have came with your SDJ 100 A1, you can then register your license in your profile. After that you should be able to access the version of Cross that is linked to your controller, in the downloads section of the forums.

Please make sure that the seller is not currently using the license. If they are still using it, they will need to remove it from there user profile before you can register it to yours.

If it was a new SDJ 100 A1 that for some reason didn't come with the bundled software, you can send proof of purchase (such as the receipt/payment confirmation email) to the support@mixvibes.com account and we can issue you a new license.

Meanwhile you could give the Cross Demo a try.
This may also help you consider buying a Cross DJ license. Main benefit to the Cross LE version is that you can use the Cross DJ version without the controller having to be connected.

Please be aware that the Demo version is full featured and has more functions than Cross DJ has. One of whihc is using DVS. But likely you didn't intend to use this.

No. You need to have the license. Please be informed that the software was bundled by the manufacturer of the controller to the software.

If you have gigs than for sure you would prefer to use the 'Cross DJ version. AS this allows you to have more freedom, like preparing your music without the need of having the controller attached.
