Mouse assignments

Postby DjBlast on 08 Aug 2017, 03:34

Anybody map a mouse to specific controls?

I have a mouse with 4 buttons. Buttons 3 and 4 I would like to assign to Load Deck A (3) and Load Deck B (4).

Just curious if anyone pulled something like this off. Thanks!

You can maybe do this if the mouse creates MIDI commands. However most use HID which can't be mapped in Cross by users.

Hello,

As RojeC has said, you can maybe do this if the mouse creates MIDI commands (or you could use something like Bome's MIDI Translator to virtually translate the mouse buttons into MIDI).

Alternatively, if the mouse buttons can be changed to register as keyboard keys, you might be able to map them in the Keyboard mapping tab, in Cross's preferences.

Best regards,

Adam @Mixvibes
