I recently adquired a Vfx Control and i installed its software in my laptop, everything ok with that. Then i connect my Vfx Control, and my laptop and the software detects it but no button is working. I don't know what is happenning, i even donwloaded the must recent software, deleted the old one and then installed the new one but nothing happens. Nothing works, and there are just led lighting on from right to left from the effects control parts close to the jog wheels, green and red ones like if they are searching or waiting. Did i do something wrong? I'm using MixVibes Vfx 1.3.1 on windows 7, and i installed the Vfx Control driver. The software detects my MixVibes Vfx Control "Plugged: Vfx Control. Auto Configured." Yet anything works on the Vfx Control.

Which software are you using and which os. Vfx software isn't supported for like 10 years. The controller likely still works.

Vfx was never updated for use at W7. SO hard to tell what it is.

You could however try the Cross Demo version (from downloads section).

This will show you if the current product will work for you. Please also be aware that Vfx doesn't support nowadays decoders and current resolutions.
