OSX El Capitan compatibility

Hi there,

Is Cross DJ (and the U-Mix Control Pro) compatible with OS X El Capitan?

I have a Mixvibes U-Mix Control Pro and a Mac book Pro running OSX El Capitan.

I have downloaded the latest version of Cross DJ 3.4.3. But when I try and open the app I get the message"The Application Cross DJ can't be opened". Is this because I need a registration code (even though I have Mixvibes hardware connected). If so I will purchase the app but want to be sure this will fix the issue before I spend the cash.

Many thanks,
Rob

You have the key registered in your user profile.

Based upon the message you describe it may be that you downloaded the windows version.

Hi,

It was definitelty the .dmg and not the .exe file I downloaded earlier.

I have just bought a license and so have downloaded the software again (this time from the link given with the license email rather than from the download section on the forum).

But I still have the same problem.

Any ideas?

Strangely Cross DJ Free still works on my machine (and the U-Mix Control Pro recognises it and the faders work but I cannot get proper sound card output. Should I removed Cross DJ Free now I have Cross DJ?

Just realised I already HAD a license for Cross DJ. So have now bought it twice.

Would love to get it working. IS it better to email support?

You can have multiple Cross (DJ) versions side by side. You can only have one active at a time as some of the resources are used exclusively.
Really strange situation. Don't see why it would help, but you may want to try to download and install the 3.3.11 version for starters.

It shouldn't be a compatibility issue as the Cross software is also Sierra compatible.

Thanks Ronald,
Where do I find the 3.3.11 download.

I have had a quick look in the download section of the forum but can't find it?

Thanks Daniel,

I found it just as you posted ;o)

Actually the link to 3.3.11 seems to link you to a 3.4.0 download so I first tried downloading 3.3.10. This seemed to download OK but when I unpacked it I got a meesage that said Cross DJ is damaged and cannot be unpacked. SO I tried the 3.3.9 and the same thing happened (see attached screenshot)

Going to try the 3.4.0 now...

Hmm,

So the archive link to download 3.3.11 actually takes you to a download for 3.4.0 which downloads a file of only 252 bytes (clearly a dud). There is a post with link to the PC version of 3.4.0 itslef but no post and link for 3.4.0 for MAC.

Is this what you are seeing Daniel?
