Shows blank squares where text is supposed to be

I recently downloaded the full version of Cross DJ from the app store, on my MacBook Air, and when I open the application, it does not display all of the text. I can't see what the titles of songs are, or what some buttons are supposed to say. It is impossible to use the application and I've tried everything from reinstalling it, to restarting my computer and nothing works, every time I open it, it has tiny error squares where writing is supposed to be.
