Remix Video: misconception ?

Dear all,

I bought Remix Video awhile ago.
Solely with the intention to import my own short video clips
in Remix Video, and trigger those clips with MIDI notes in my DAW.
I am honestly not that interested in the factory video clips that have audioloops "embedded" in them.

Is what i want possible ?

Warm Regards.

Hi,

Yes, it is possible ! :)

You can import your own :
- videos (.mov, .mp4, .avi or .mpeg)
- images (.jpg, .png, .gif)
- sounds (.mp3, .wav, .ogg)

To do that you can either :
- Drag and drop the files from your explorer or finder (if your on PC or Mac)
- Use the browser inside the software (Folder Icon, and Files tab)

If you are on Mac, make sure your content is stored in Movies, Pictures or Audio so that they will be automatically loaded next time you use Remixvideo.

If the embbed audio loops bother you, you can either :
- Mute the audio in the Edit page, first tab.
- Unload the linked audio file in the Edit page, "..." menu

Hi apazat,

Many thanks for your help.
Great to hear that what i want is possible :)

One thing though:
I would rather have this workflow:

1) I make a folder within a DAW project folder.
2) In that folder, i place pics and movie clips, that i wanna use in Remixvideo.
3) I open Remixvideo in my DAW and load these pics and movie clips.
4) When done, i save my DAW project.
Outcome:
Next time i open the DAW project, Remixvideo will load these pics and movie clips.

I am rather not bind to having to place movie clips and pics in their dedicated Movies and Pictures folders, to have Remixvideo them correctly loaded.

Warm Regards.
