Hello.

I have a problem vith my hardware- mixvibes U-Mix Control Pro. It started after Ive updated firmvare to v4.3.
When I connect the device PC It can not be seen as MIDI device, It cant be seen as flash usb (shift+browse as in instruction)
either. Ive tried 4 windows PCs to connect to with very same effect. Software is Cross. Bulbs on the device work correct,
they run on both decks on start up. Is it possible to somehow reset firmware on the device, or maybe send device to your technicians?

couple of issues and info needed ,,
in grey header at top of posting page are fourm rules ,, mainly to regerster the software licence key in the fourm ,,
how where you able too access the firmware update ,,
what was the reason for updating the firm ware
had u m c p 1 earlier on ,, are you sure its a 1 , the firm ware is not for a umcp2 ,,
cant remember the set up and procedure for updating it when i had it ,, but my limited computer skills was able to accomplish it ,,not saying you are inapt but might have misssed a step ,,
dont think mixvibes has resources to do the firmware update for you soo we will try to solve this as we can

Actions of update were direcly as in instruction.
Im in search of disc with serial.
Markings on bottom of the instrument are:
M1100075A, September 2011.
As soon as ill find my disc Ill enter serial in my profile, hope for your understanding.
Ive downloaded update using another profile, currently I do not have access to.

no problem ,,if you have u m c p 1 ,,not 2 then the firmware in the download section is correct ,, make sure its not the 2 ,, should be marked u m c p ,,
was the unit functional before the firmware update ,,
barring that the firmware up date was un sussful there are thing to check before suggesting trying that again ,,
will need info as to persicly whats going on /not going on ,,to determine if its another issue than firmware ,, sooo info and screen shots are necessary ,, at bottom of posting page is a upload attachment tab use this to put screen shots on fourm ,,
info needed screen shot of MIDI tab with controller connected ,,
os and system specs ,,
what you tried to do to get this resolved/working ,,as not to suggest something already tried ,,
and the process begins

:eek: you posibly dont have the upload tab ,,userers right when regerstered ,,so here a screen shot of MIDI tab ,, its for U-Mix 2 and the on line tab is red because the controller is not connected ,

Sorry as it may look like necroposting.
Hardware was operational, usb cable is ok. The problem is that now device cann not be recognized by a PC.
For example, when i hold shiftbrowse and turn device on(source a, b blinking), midUpgDisc doesnt even show. Nothing happens at all. And on different pcs with Vista, 8, 8.1, 10 Windowses the story is the same. Please help mixvibes pimp my device

Cross 3.0.1, CrossDjFree 3.2.4 also.

Cross Free doesn;t support MIDI.

If you register your license key you can upgrade Cross to 3.4.3. Would be the best start given the ancienity of your version.
