Hi daniel,
In the Clips browser :
The play/stop is a preview of the video.
Drag and drop should drop if you click on the video description and not on the thumbnail (clicking on the thumbnail will play/stop the preview)

I'll get back to you later concerning the recordings.
Just a quick thing concerning the authorization error in one of our screenshots, did you try right clicking/execute as an administrator ?

yes figured drag and drop ,,
preview where ,, if i play the audio files i hear them ,,
playing the video files with audio muted see no picture in either the small screen or expanded screen,,will un mute the audio and see if i can hear the file ..
,,have too look ,,but did right clicked to change properities ,, wasnt happening ,, gotta check some more ,,as to thinking that i didnt want my video folder file shared,,
that get back too the question of why noot have it set up to be able too chose where you want the software to place /retrieve files from ,,
the idea of a software being able to retrieve and also set up placement of files with out your approval/selection if not benificial ..
will look futher into the rioghts issue ,,

:cool: seems the same for music ,main vid folder and also mixvibes rec file where the rec will be placed ,,

useing drums flux in sample browser,,see a audio file and also a vid file ,,play vid file show a play progress bar at bottom of selection ,,no vid in either little screen or expanded second screen ,, play audio fil ,, no progress bar on sample tab ,, but audio heard ,,

went to this file and checked read only ,, tried to anyalise in Cross ,,!! file corrupted ,, unknown format ,, might have solved the issue with rights ,, but file doesnt seem to be good ,possible rec issue ,,

have you also look into when you un load a sample it removes it from the pack ,, and have to manually place it back in ,, maybe i am using this wrong ,, but the sample pack has gotten smaller,,shouldnt the un load button just unload the grid ,,to place other samples in it

left remixvid open ,
opened Cross ,,tried to load any of the files generated ,,only wav file loads and anylises ,, playes ,,but no sound since none was recorded ,, audio turned off for vid selection ,,
more info ,, hope this helps

:idea: beta 2 ,,, same issues ,,with rec diasppearing after shut down of remix ,,
also rights issue ,, not sure if thats on my end or software issue

Still working on the issue, I'm trying to replicate this on my machine.

Another lead:
Inside Cross, can you go in Preferences/General and untick the save tags option ?
It might cause a bug because of the "Read Only" option

yrs i can do this ,, the folder for remix vids is stored in a general video folder ,, the other folders have same permissions and i can play them in Cross software ,, if that helps ,,
any word on the dissappearing recordings files
