I noticed my macbook pro fan runs super faster and louder when using the Remixvideo.

This is not a new thing,as the same happened with the original stable release.

I understand video is more cpu intensive than audio djing but I'm quite hesitant to use Remixvideo for extended periods due to this especially live gigs.

Mac spec is mid 2014, 2gb video ram, 15" and the 2.5ghz quad core

well in my option its officially non functional ,,
played with it some more ,,recorded a 5 min clip .. left the program running after ,,opened up file path to recordings ,, there there but when you shut off program ,, they go away ,,

this is a major issue as to being able to use this as a vid generator for use in Cross ,,plus the fact that the files when there are non accessible by Cross ,,

my suggestion is to fix this
and change how the program populates the file section ,, shouldn't self populate ,, should either be selective or from one folder you can populate ,,

soooo from the only one present trying to beta test this software ,,and getting meager response ,, this is a wrap till thing get changed ,,so i can test/use software ,

It's the fan of the GPU not the CPU. As it is a heavy duty video 'rendering' program this is normal behaviour.

Sorry I didn't have time to porperly investigate your recording issues this week, I will get back to you on Monday with some questions !

To sum up:
Recordings :
This looks like a bug, we will fix it

File Browser :
Showing every compatible file is the standard way of working in other video softwares, that's why we choose this behaviour.

However, you can create your own sample packs with only the videos you want to use, and access them through the sample packs browser and not the file browser. It will be very similar to the way you want it to work.

We talked about managing the collection in the same way as a DJ soft does. We are still thinking about it although it will be a change in the long term.

as far as the file issue ,, some how pouplated with videos not wanted in the software ,,and not having ability to remove them from software ,, something has to be re thinked ,,

how do you go about replacing vids in grid ,,drag and drop doesnt seem to work ,, also the play button on the vid samples ,,where are you susposed to monitor then at ,,if thats a preview feature ,,
