Hello,

I have a lot of mp3 in my collection and some time, the file must to be reanalyse when I load it in a player and i loose my custom beatgrid. It is normal ? It is a "feature" ?
I spend a lot of time puting cue point and adjusting beatgrid. I would like to keep it.

thanks

For PC/Mac you have to check that the tracks aren't write protected.

Other cause may be that other programs modify the track data.

+1 I moved my setup to a new laptop at one point and suddenly it was reanalyzing EVERY track I loaded into the deck. Resetting ownership privileges for my music folder solved the problem.

This is on PC.

I have the "save changes in tags" disabled. This is the cause ?
Or maybe this is only the files relocated.

No, the tags are something different.

It's about the write right as the attribute of the trackfiles in your file system.

Generally when you copy files other than hdd to hdd at the same system the destination file will ne read only by default.
