hi ! i have a technical problem with my U-Mix Control 2, is the cue button light. under this button i think is 2 leds that light up the button. i think 1 is dead. is not as bright like the red cue. how to disasembly to replace the broken led? i like this controller and i dont want to change it and another problem is the Cue button in not working anymore and the bend minus too. Cue button seems to work only when the sync button is activated. What happened? Is not from mapping because i used this mapping over 2 years. I changed the cable and updated traktor to latest version.

Did this happen before or after you upgraded Traktor?
If after it might be worthwhile to copy your mapping and try to reassign the buttons that go wrong. Maybe traktor changed some commands which are not reflected in you mapping.

I'm not to sure about this suggestion, but it's something that can be done without having to open the controller...
I don't recall to have read about a user replacing leds in the controller.

BTW have you tried connecting your controller to a different USB port? If there is some communication error in the MIDI protocol this might resolve it. Have traktor closed while doing this and wait some time for the driver to be (re)installed. This is done automatically.

This happened before upgrade traktor. I will try again to change usb port but i think this is not the cause. And i dont think the mapping is error because i try diferent one. When i power on the unit it's working for 4 or 5 minutes and then the buttons stop working. I tried it with Cross android and the buttons are not working good too. Is not dificult to open the unit but is hard to take of caps and knobs. Maybe is firmware problem. Where to search for firmware dor this unit to reinstal it again?

There is no firmware available for the UMCP2.

When using with Android, do you use a powered USB hub (or UMCP2 with powersupply)

as rojec said the firmware installed on unit is correct and do not update/change it ,,as to unable to replace it for now .
have you tried running it in Cross demo to see if it behaves same ,,
you are trying to eliminate the problem ,,which is you ask ,,mechanical or electrical .. mechanical will be caused from overuse/extensive use ,, led/lights you probably can live with ,, elimiate the electrical before you go tearing the controller apart for lights,, this unit is years old and even thought it fit a great niche,,parts and repair of mechanical are non existent ,,gonna re read you post and see if anything is in common with known issues ,

the vid shows your issues clearly ,, the sync buttom doesnt stay on when you push it ,,at least not on mine ,,it should change the bpm to match the other deck bpm also sync the track ,,
the sync button that not acting right does it change the bpm to match the other deck ,
does the red sync button change the bpm correctly
