So i bought the full version from app store (99euros) only to realise it didn't work with SYPHON. I thought i was going mad, so i used the demo again and in the Preferences --- Video --- General tab there is a Syphon Check box which is not present in the full paid version.

Early adopter issues??

Can you please look into this?

Don't know to much on the remixvideo yet, but syphon is working for remixlive (audio) so if it isn't it either a a bug or maybe not an option to be disabled, so present by default in your paid version?

(unless you couldn't connect by syphon, then more likely a bug)

I reached out to mixvibes on Facebook and they confirmed that Syphon wasn't enabled in the full version of remixvideo available on the Apple Store.

With the demo I didn't have to download Syphon separately. There is a check box within the remixvideo app itself asking you if you wanted to enable Syphon. That check box isn't available in the full version.

I will download Syphon and give it a go when I get home.

How do i install Syphon into Remixvideo?

I'm not impressed with my initial experience with you guys.

How come there are issues with the release of Remixvideo.

Firstly the buy button in the demo program leads to a different software which i purchased in error. I'm still waiting for a refund!

Secondly, the Final version is missing Syphon output which was present in the demo version and also clearly advertised on the product page and i quote

Share video output with another Syphon-compatible software. For instance, send the output of Remixvideo to projection mapping software like MadMapper.

I am waiting for another refund from Apple store for the second purchase too.

MixVibes is in the business of digital DJ/VJ for over 20 years. Being involved only 6 years of these I only can tell you that usually critical bugs are fixed pretty quick. I would expect days the most in this case.

However being a moderator (like the others mods) we here are just 'experienced' users around the world trying to get other users going asap. Meanwhile the devteam in France tries to dream up new stuff and fix things (because they were dreaming... ).

As mentioned before the 'audio version' of RML does have the proper syphon support so it's not a next release feature already used in marketing.
The error in the link has been acknowledged. So it's a little unfortunate you proceeded the purchase.

I would suggest you try to work out direct by mail with support@mixvibes.com . This is the easiest thing as you can share your data without making it public using the forum.

Please be aware that the 3rd party you paid to does not share all info to MV, so please provide appropriate details in the mail...

Hope your current experience soon will be changed into possitive... meanwhile I'll have to wait for the WIn version before having the ability to experience to new developments...

The Remixvideo with Syphon is now downloaded.

I hope its smooth sailing sailing from now on.

I still want to test the Software at length to see how it holds up.
