Using 2 denon dns1200 mdi players on Cross DJ

Postby Julio Casella on 27 Dec 2016, 05:07

I have dns1200s and can only get both of them to control only one deck. how do I assign one of them to deck a and the other to deck b and how do I get the sound of deck a to be outputted from the output on the dns1200 into the line on my mixer and the same for b.

Maybe have a look at the manual?

It starts with audio setup...

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

It sounds like your deck are assigned the same channel number. Look into the settings for your deck and make sure your channel settings are different from one deck to the other. I.e. Deck A is using channel 1 while deck B is using channel 2.

I bought it off the App Store and heres my audio set up I don't know if its right maybe you could help me with that. I come from Serato and wanted to try something different with MIDI players instead of time code. I still can't get Cross to read ny second player. audio from deck b is coming from channel 1 and audio from deck a is coming through channel one on my mixer 2

I guess Denon has audio drivers that can be used to use multiple devices. Please check the webiste (or wait for someone with more knowledge on this)
If not you can use Asio4all als virtual driver. Install, select, edit settings. in the menu of asio first select one of the right down btn so you can use multiple devices.
Only select the channels you will use, as each takes additional performance from the CPU.
