However 3.4.2 is available which has fixed the issue.

I (still) can connect Cross PC with tablet.

It's new for me.. so just from general PC knowledge..
May devices communicate to oneanother (router setting)
try lowering firewall defence.

I have no firewall on my internal network. everything connects fine such as multiple instances of Ableton and remix live. Cross on the other hand just doesn't want o play ball
