DVS problem-please help!

Postby kmica1 on 21 Jul 2016, 21:27

Dear Sirs,

I'm new here but I have read all topics regarding Xone23C and Cross LE which I have.
I have reconfigured internaly the sound card and installed properly all drivers. In Cross LE I have done all by lioke in the user guide to enable DVS but it just wont work.
Basicly, when I click Calibrate i recieve this message from Cross LE:
"The deck playing speed is not 1(i.e pitch 0) Please reset it and retry."
...and, after the noise from mixbibes is always a biiig BEEEEEEEEEP.
...I have trying this for few days...and nothing.
Now, I have asked for help.
Could you help me please...
thank you,

Matko

In the settings of your sound card you have to select 'mute' for the monitoring of the inputs.

What you hear is the timecode signal (1300hz).

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Of course is not.
I'm 100% sure that everything is done properly except this.
I have read the manual, and yes, it is ok....bet the beeeeep remains.
Audio preferences in Cross LE are set up like in manual:
Xone:23C USB ASIO driver
Input 1:In1/in2
Input 2: In3/in4
...and the same Outputs
Limiter enabled
Routing mode: external mixer.

that's it...
really don have a clue what to do.. :(

Did someone had a same problem??

 have seen this before in DVS set up as rojec points out the inputs should be muted ,, as in all DVS sound card set ups ,, check the sc for the x zone if there is a control panel and mute the inputs ,,

...well, there is a control panel and Inputs can be muted/unchecked.
They are checked always and when I uncheck them...each time I start the mixvibes record, they(inputs 1-4) are again ON.

....it seems like without any solution...for me, for now. :(

..on the mixer, they are on minimum from the beginning.
..ooo, and yes..maybe the key is that I have the Ortofon Concorde Pro S stylus-es.?
...as far as I know, for DVS that does not matter.
But, again,,,is this noise(beeep) can't do nothing hard to the sc and most important...if does not goues thrue main outputs...I'm fine with this...when cue-ing ....it is ok.
