your screen shots sent look correct ,, you have player on ,,but not level meter signal ,,is the track that low at that point in playing

is you win audio seeing the U-Mix sc ,,even though you will not be useing it ,

i selected different tracks but all are the same, Yes windows can see my sc, this only happens when i formatted the laptop and installed the app again,, but if i choose the default windows sc there are no problem, music plays controller is great

Haven't seen the captures so a bit guessing..

Might it be the folder structure of your hdd changed.
In the collection you would get a red square box per track you tried to load.

Have you tried reinstalling the audiodriver of the soundcard.

i've tried reinstalling both the app and driver but it's still the same, can you PM me your email add so i can send the screenshots

o kay ,,same user priviligase issues ,,here screen shot of control panel ,,look good

have you tried useing just the computer sc and useing mouse to play tracks do they play ,,any error
by chance are you useing the 64 bit version of Cross ,, if you have desk top icons for Cross thgere will be two shown ,,try the 32 bit version ,,
lets us know the results

rule out the 64 bits it shows what ver bit rate ,,in Cross header ,,
