So everytime I connect my control pro 2, a new file comes up called Midiupgdisk. How do I undo that?

Doesn't seem to be normal.
Some info on your hard/software and OS might be interesting....

lacking some info ,,havent seen that one ,, soo any info as to set up version using ,when/what changes occured between when it wasnt happining and now, ,,screen shot of file warning ,,and even a copie of the file ,,and how is the set up running or not running ,,

Not using a mac. Using a normal laptop. I thought I could update my firmware thinking mine was a U-Mix Control Pro instead of a 2. So I held down the browse button and shift button and switched it on. Couldnt't get it to run normally ever since.

:cool: what firnware did you try to install ,,the control pro 2 came set up with firmware and no changes nessary ,, if this is the case ,,look in download section for PROPER FIRMWARE ,,not thinking its there and has to be supplied again by some one from the company ,,will have a screen shot with the person to contactand will go back stage to try to get you some assistance

the screen shot has info on who to get in contack with ,, one aveanue is to check posting about this ,,probly use the search keyword ,,firmware ,,etc ,,

I think that you tried to update your U-Mix Control Pro 2 with the firmware of U-Mix Control Pro 1 (There is no firmware update for U-Mix Control Pro 2).

will look for a prior posting with same issues ,,where the original firmware was made avaible ,, the reason for reaching out to get it ,,
