Hi,

I have recently purchased 'Mixvibes DVS Ultimate' package from Amazon without realising it is PC only software inside the box. If I purchase Cross separately will the timecode vinyl and interface still work with it?

Thanks.

Yes that's possible.
You can upgrade to Cross. You do need the full version. Not Cross DJ.

You can try the Demo version so you can convince yourself before purchasing.

Amber button for demo download is on top.

Cross also supports w8. Which didn't exist when support for Ultimate was ended.

And Welcome to mixvibes. ..

Thanks for the reply.

I've been testing out Cross via the demo and think it works great as a DVS system, but I would also like to play real vinyl alongside it. I am struggling to work out how to do this as Cross doesn't seem to like accepting the phono input. I have changed the input setting to phono, is that wrong? Or am I missing something else in the settings somewhere? Whenever I try and change the Audio input in Cross (where the 'A' and 'B' drop down menus are, not within the settings) it only gives me the option of line.

The interface I'm using is a U-MIX44.

Sorry if this is too much and is hard to understand, I'm just trying to give as much information as I can.

Thanks again.

 have you looked at the instructions in the manual ,,some info there that will help , remember you are playing with the demo and might have some limitations ,,
also to get the upgrade pricing for Cross the DVS ultimiate licence key should be regerstered in the fourm ,,

I've had a look through the manual but couldn't really find much useful information. Is the demo version limited to just a line in rather than a phono input? I have got sound coming through from the vinyl but it is very quiet and dull (which is why it needs a phono pre amp). I would like to register the license key but won't do this until I am happy that my hardware and Cross are able to do what I need them to do, otherwise I will return the Ultimate DVS package.
