Hello all
i purchased a dixon 1st mix controller and got Cross DJ LE.i want to update it but serial number i used to install says invalid when i try enter it on control panel please help,i also downloaded Cross DJ free but seems the controller dont recognise it,infact the controller ONLY works with the Cross DJ LE it came with no other DJ software turns it on

Some times the fourm doesn't update user rights as needed ,, try deleting browser cookies ,,,board cookies ,, Tab at bottom of index page ,, if this doesn't give you user rights ,,evident by software badge in your postings ,, give unclevibes a pm with the nessary info ,, he can straighten it out,, until then use this topic posting to solve any issues , and welcome

yes its all good and i got update,but that's a new problem for me,the Dixon 1st mix don't work with the updated version,i was using it with v2.0.2,i figured 2.6 will have tons goodies but i didn't wanna loose controller compatibility

EXPLAIN ,, what doesnt work ,, the mapping for the original software version was set up for that controller ,, the later version might not be set up / chosen ,, explain ,,what wrong

with the version i been using,it was plug n play,now the software still don't start without the controller plugged in but does open when its plugged,a signed they still recognize each other,but i cant use it for anything.when i check MIDI controller guide from the help menu i don't find my controller listed,though similar one gemini firstmix is there.do i need to return to v2.0.2 to keep using this controller or there's a workaround?

thinking the work around is to stay with the orignal version ,,le means the software is tied to the controller ,, if you try the newer version and select the mapping for the controller thats similiar ,,do you get any responce ,, also note due to differences in versions the mappings will be different ,, and thinking you dont have mapping editing capabilities in the le ver of the software ,, too many unanswered

i have noticed that i can import mappings,but i browsed all mixvibes related folders i cant locate them,maybe if i can have them i can get one that at least get the controller working even if its partially.is there anywhere on this site where the mappings are downloadable?or they are supposed to be installed with the software?

the big is with the le software,,the mappings are in the download section ,, gonna move this topic to Cross tech support for you to be able to post a screen shot of your mapping tab ,, too see if there is a selection for you to import mappings and also edit them ,,
