American Audio VMS 4.1 in Cross???

Postby guitarplaya608 on 23 Jul 2014, 17:02

Hi,
Is there any existing MIDI mapping for the VMS 4.1 with 4 decks in Cross DJ? I have successfully figured out 2 decks, but i cant find a way to switch decks A/B and C/D so i dont have to use the mouse to control the 3rd and 4th decks. Please help!

I was able to use the manual to figure out the audio and MIDI mapping for 4 channels but there is no designated button for deck switching and the manual doesnt help on that at all.

Depends on the controller in how it's implemented.

In short... what does the A/C and B/D button do?

Does it change the channel for all the controls like it does on some controllers or does it simply act like a button and rely on the software to make the change?

Either can work... the logic/processing to do the mapping varies based on that though.

Any change you can share that info?

I didn't find it in the online MIDI map...
