Cross 3.2. Track causes 100% lockup

I have found an mp3 track that causes Cross 3.2 to lockup everytime I drag it onto any deck, or via CDJ's. It analyses fine, and plays fine in winamp, media player etc.. It was bought legit off Beatport.

I have also tried updating the laptops copy with the original off the nas, but the same thing happens. Is there a private upload section I can send it to the devs to try ?

Every previous lockup I've had in Cross has always been on track load, so I'm thinking its the same as this issue.

You can upload your file to any sharing location and provide the temp location. If it is 'small' you could e-mail it to support.

Is there a difference in mem between your devices, and maybe different tyes of hdd and if it's a video track the graphical specs.

It might be very helpful that you have a duplicatible problem in different environments. However not sure if the devteam has an AMD machine available.

Turning off antivirus has the same result as suggested per folder; this allows for most CPU capacity available. But turning off is not always an option and for that the exclusion of folders is helpful as elsewise the AV kicks in on every Cross activity.

The loading is a critical moment as quite some activity is going on. So not surprising that most trouble is there. Still problems should not result in crashes, but something else.

It might be worthwhile to also make some tracks available that are modified by the mp3 program. Worst case an exotic encoder or setting is used that is not known yet by Cross.

Sent TinouCas a link to it;

I don't use any video, I've never turned the video tab on, on either install.

Just to specify, the issue is on the intel laptop, not the AMD desktop.
Both laptop and desktop have samsung SSDs. The laptop an Evo one in performance mode.

Antivirus is MS security essentials, with realtime protection off.

The mp3 program ? The mp3 was bought direct from Beatport and no modifications have been done to it. It should be AFAIK, bit identical to what I downloaded from Beatport, unless Cross modifies any meta data in it.

One other bit of information, the laptop was setup using the backup collection from Desktop, and all the media included. Thats how I copy all settings and files to laptop install.
