Cross just shut down

Saturday night while i was playing i did a album search and start playing songs from the search results. After a few tracks and while i was loading a track, Cross shut down without crash message or anything else. Just closed. I am trying to reproduce it with the same album results and loading tracks but i can't.
Any ideas??

(Win 7 pro 64bit set up)

Do you know if you had preview on (at the right). The view crashes I had in Beta seem to be only when a preview is started.

If you mean the preview song function, I never use it. I always load a song and listen to it.

Thanks a lot

This happened once again yesterday. I just load a track with my Mouse and Cross just shut down. No crash, no messages...nothing. Just shut down. Fortunately this time it happened when was home so there was no problem but it's really scary.

Hi Stelios,

Slightly off topic, but you really should give the preview song function a try. I was one of those vinyl/CD track skipping DJs (toss in a CD and do a quick 3-second intro scan of all tracks to jog the old memory) and unload the CD if it didn't have a suitable track I was looking for. When I moved to DJ software it irked me that I had to load, hit play, load again, hit play again if I wanted to go through tracks in an album folder or playlist. Not to mention that in the earlier version it would often show as played in your tracklist as soon as you hit play.

I think the Cross implementation is spot on. Click on the track and it plays in your headphone, click on the next and it plays. Not only that, but if you set the position slider to, say, about 1/3 into the track (who wants to listen to intro's for a quick scan after all lol), EVERY track then starts preview play from that relative position. Really brilliant way to do it. It's one of Cross' pros for me. Minor pro, but I'd be bummed if we ever lost that.

I agree with you that it's a brilliant function. I will try to change "the loading" to "preview" cause "the loading" is a something that is happening as a routine.

Thanks a lot
