Hello All,

Hope you all are doing fine and rocking as usual!!

Well i am facing an issue with my U-Mix Control Pro 2 controller. while installing the driver it is unable to detect my controller. i tried with the new set of drivers and old set as well but no success. Ultimately any full version of Cross le is not able to detect it. Getting error message as Failed to detect the required device. Please connect your device and retry. I know this is an issue with the drivers.

My PC configuration is Windows 7 64 bit, 4 gig RAM, 2 ghz c2d intel processor, 500gb HDD. Its a compaq machine.

I think the issue is with the ASIO driver control.

Your help on this is highly appreciated.

hate to say this but your software will work with the original controller and original mapping ,,
did your control pro 2 come with software ,,,if so you will have to use it ,,please regerster it ,when you get a chance ,,,,

Yes i think my software has got a problem. When i received the box from my seller, the CD inside had some issues i guess. It was little bent due to packaging and was not getting read by my both the laptops. Hence what i did is i registered myself on the forum using the license key, downloaded the Cross LE 2.5 / 2.4 / 2.3 any many other versions (full). Installed them on the laptop and it failed to recognise the device. When i tried to install the drivers for the controller it failed to detect it either.

Now i have this CD working in my desktop computer, i will copy the software from CD to flash drive and will install it. And will let you know if it goes successful.

they cd has a licence key on it PUT THE CD LICENCE KEY IN YOUR PROFILE ,keys un lock doors ,, its proof that you have legal software,, weather the cd is tore up from the floor up ,, put the key in the door ,

o kay ,,what controller do you have the title of the posting says control pro 2,,of is it the U-Mix Control 2 different controller ,different software bundled with it,,ie Cross DJ le ,, ,,if this is the case

Well yeah i have Mixvibes U-Mix Control Pro which is built in sound cards. And yes i did tried installing the CD and after that again the same issue..

I am excited with my new console but very upset since i can not use it.

O kay to the point ,,U-Mix Control 2 ,,,no installed sc and Cross DJ le,,,,,U-Mix Control Pro ,,and U-Mix Control Pro 2 ,,installed sc and Cross DJ.....
the U-Mix Control 2 has le software that will work with only the bundeled controller ,,
the U-Mix Control Pro and pro 2 can be used with any MIDI mappable software ,,
and Cross DJ can be used with any MIDI mappable controller ,,,

where did you get the le version of the software ,,and the inverse is where is the Cross DJ software that should have come with the control pro

.... Looks like the seller did put in the wrong disk in my box , cause at the time of purchase there was U-Mix Control Pro and U-Mix 2 both the controllers were opened for demo purpose. And while packing the CD's are placed in the wrong box

Anyways is there a way i can get the Cross DJ online or using the serial number of hardware?

this might become long and drawn out ,,any copies of reciepts ,(hope you have them ) you might want to go back too your retailer to get it cleared up ,,that should be the main avenue of recourse one other option is to purches the upgrade software at a discounted price from the web shop ,,and it wouldnt hurt to p m uncle vibes too seeif there are any other options
the same link will provide info on the upgrade price ,,

Yeepee... i contacted my seller, got the Crodd DJ and boom my U-Mix Control Pro is working now!!!
