BPM changes constantly while i´m using MV

Hi Everybody,

I´m having problems with my mixvibes Cross program. The problems started this week when i returned from vacation and was using the 2.4 version. The bpm of tracks switches with a max diversity of 0.5. Mostly it's around 0.4-0.3.

When i updated to the 2.5 version i still had the same problems, only they looked to have worsenend diversity changes between 0.5 till 1. Sometimes even peaks to 2.

As you can guess this messes up the mixing.

Have seen small diversities before with earlier versions 2.4 etc, but this was for a very short moment and at a max of 0.2.

I already re-installed mixvibes 2.5 once again.

Used new needles.

Cleaned the records

checked all the wiring and seems to be connected as it should.

I use the U46MK2 panel board v3.0 (driver)

Played a bit with the latency and other driver options, but without improvement.

What do ya´ll advise to try next ?

What is your PC exactly and what do you have hoked up to it?
Also make shure your PC is optimised for Audio.

Dell Studio 1558 I5 processor (WINDOWS 7)
4 G working memory
MixVibes Cross 2.5 & U46mk2.
DATEQ XTC MIXER
2 x Technics SL1210 mk2.
FX controler AKAI LPD8

What is your PC exactly and what do you have hoked up to it?
Also make shure your PC is optimised for Audio.

I downloaded the 2.4 and the problem disappeared, also redownloaded the 2.5 but i keep having the same problems.

So i thought it was a flaw of the new version, i will try the program you advised and will check what´s possibly disturbing it.

When you say the BPM changes, do you only refer to the BPM display or can you hear the speed variations?
