Conflict issues : Maya44 USB and Novation Dicers

Hi Support,

I am having conflicting problems between My Maya44USB and Novation Dicers. When I use the Maya on its own it works fine. But when I connect the Dicers - the Dicers will not set as per normal. The lights on the dicers either run continuously (both or one only).

I tried it other way around aswell (first connected Dicers and then the Maya44) - In this case the Maya cant display its control panel and the dicers also doesnt work.

i swopped usb ports, reinstalling the lastest Maya44 drivers but no succes.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit laptop (Acer).

Any advice.

Using an active USB hub will certainly give enough power to some of these devices.

Both plugged into the laptop? or a USB hub?

Are you getting any messages about power on the USB port?

I've tried both (usb hub and plugging it into different usb ports) still the same problem.

i meant I am not getting messages about power on the usb

Does this conflict also happen on another computer ?
(trying to undertand if it is OS or hardware related)

I am actual going to test it tonight on my other laptop (Toshiba C650 with Windows 7 Home Basic).

I previously ran the Maya44 and Dicers with Toshiba (W7) and it worked fine until the introduction of the Video Plugin - The RAM of the Toshiba can unfortunately only increase to 4GB of RAM and this doesnt work well with the video plugin.

Will advise you accordingly.

The video plugin have nothing to do into this formula.

The Video plugin didnt cause any conflict - the playback of videos (on the Toshiba) wasnt smooth. I suspected it had something to do with the RAM which is only limited to 4GB.

the Acer laptop has 6gb of Ram and the video playback is flawless.
