I have had multiple instances of smart playlists not saving, or changing their properties after a restart.

For instance, the "not analyzed" smart list has "Analysis status is not checked", but when I restart or load Cross, it becomes "Analysis status is not ?".

I had this issue but it was only temporary...

IIRC, it happened when I didn't shut down Cross properly.

Can, you recreate this and write me down detail by detail what you did?
I will check if it's in the beta, and if it is, I'll report it, so they can take it out!

It will happen only if Cross can't write into the config/database files.
- OS security limitation
- crash on quit

I filmed a short video of it happening. Excuse the rather loud throat clearing, I didn't notice how load it was until I was done.

The rundown

-Boot computer, load up Cross
-Look for analysis checking smart list, open it to find 4396 non-analyzed tracks
-Check the setting of the smart list, and they aren't as they were saved
-Change the smart list to how it should be, and exit Cross.
-Reboot Cross, and the non-corrected smart list exists, except instead of "any" marked, "all" is marked like was corrected, so the smart list WAS saved, but not all of it.
-Verify with Dropbox that the file was updated recently, cause that's where I keep my database, which is a boss tip if you want to write it down.

Ok, I already have this issue when I tried to edit the oem smartlist.
If you create a new one with the same parameters, you won't have the issue.

Created two different playlists, one named "try me" and one named "try me 2", one in a smartlist folder, the other under the general smart list header. Both of them did not save when using "*ALL* [analysis status] [is not] [checked]".

So then I tried checking all the criteria

*All* / *Any* Saves, all the time
[analysis status] Saves, all the time
[is] or [is not] Saves, all the time
[checked][?][wavy thing][...][ ] Does not save, reverts back to [?]

[?] is the first selection in the list.

Try it, and see if it's a duplicatable problem on OSX version of Cross, anybody.
