I have instaled VFX1.3.1 yesterday
and i can see that big mediabase is still crashing Vfx... not fixed!
i have analyzed all my files again .And when i touch anything inside mediabase > FREEZE !

Navigation button is not working (not going up or down when moving button left or right) under the orange line inside mediabase bars.
I cannot move from ALL>MUSIC>VIDEO.... not moving down ,not moving up. must use mouse to do that.
i can move it only inside explorer and songs on the main screen.

How many songs can be placed inside one folder ?
How many folders can be placed inside one folder ?

How can i hear samples inside sampler before playing them out ?

Did you do a Reset.exe after installation ?

yes ,few times .

interesting is this : when push start to analyze songs ,even a small folder
my controller stop working immediately ? this is the first time that i see this problem .

bingo ! found the problem
FOLDER.JPG inside was causing this problem.
after removing folder.jpg works fine > no freezing !

What is folder.jpg ?
Actually have 90000 files (audio & video), I have some hangout, slowdown, but no crashs.

folder.jpg = album art picture jpeg format. folder is only name of that picture.
it was placed inside one of my mp3 folder.
after i remove this picturre controller start working normal , no crashes .
i have removed all of my cover art,pictures,png from my video and mp3 folders to be sure.

this is not happening in v 1.3.0 ! navigation works fine here .

as in the v 1.3.0 .


i must say again that i own virtual DJ,serato and traktor and really don*t have problems with my music and videofiles.even with cover arts ,pictures inside.I got everything perfectly aranged analyzed and checked in all of my programs.
and after 2 years of waiting would like to see that Vfx is finally working .i would like to help finding whats going on here because i find that Vfx is perfect idea for VJs .Well i do not know how people can work with Vfx witout mediabase ? thats the fundamental !

now i try to add folders one by one (i have reduced them to see what is going on with small media base .added 12 small folders.

and i do not have some hangout, slowdown ...i got this !
picture 1 : just touched one of my directory and my music disappeared ?? Vfx freezes > must reset !

picture 2 : just wanted to add new folder and strange message appeared ?

reset again !

next time i add the same folder and look there is no message ??

Ok didn't knew, never used this. So the image inside the folder will be default covers for all the files inside that folder ?

I can scroll into explorer and collection view. Selection view doesn't scroll that's right.

Absolutely crazy, I can have very long freeze but no crash but I don't stress it when it freeze and yes I have to wait for minuteS.
89884 files into collection.

The crash are not triggered as easy on our side. Only the freeze.

Well i do not know how people can work with Vfx witout mediabase ? thats the fundamental !

The featured DJs we have do have database and any of these issues. They test every versions before we released them and wouldn't use a version that you can barely do nothing with.

We've tried to move to something else because a lot of people were asking for a Mac version.

I simply right click on my external drive an import the whole content.

and i do not have some hangout, slowdown ...i got this !

In my case I wait a few seconds and the content appear. Sometimes it would go into a "sand loop" but give me control back again later.

I can't give you any answer on that as I don't have the issue.

well i am sorry but i never ever have controll over mediabase back.
must reset every time.even with small mediabase (yesterdays testing)

A REQUESTED SEQUENCES WAS > freeze Vfx
just turned of Vfx and load again same folder which cause this message.reanalyze again ,and message did not apear again ??

Not sure there will be more update on Vfx has they have moved to Cross videoplugin.

after 2 years of waiting to start work properly with Vfx that cost me 600 euro, you want to say that there will be no update ?

Is that a serious response to all costummers around the globe - from the Mixvibes Company that is at the top of the DJ software production ?

If Mixvibes will develop only VIDEO PLUGIN for Cross
what are we supposed to do with our Vfx CONTROLLER

spend another 79 euro for Cross ?

please answer this to me and to all MIXVIBES Vfx user.
