Hey Everyone,

Had some questions about moving from Vfx to Cross w/Video Plug in.

1. Can we upgrade or do we have to purchase a full Cross license?

2. Will the Video Plug In for Cross have Flash, Text, or Image capabilities like Vfx?

3. Is there a visualizer in the Video Plug In for Cross?

4. How long will the free Video Plug In offer last for Vfx users.

I really appreciate the free offer and multi-format support for video files. Thanks!

2 - not Flash, Text, Image or as Vfx.

4 - yes User plugin is free for Vfx.

An alternative crossdj I use to mix video, and Flash, Text, Image and webcam, along with crossdj use Vfx.

Not sure if I understand you though. Are you saying you have an alternate version of the Video Plug In that has text, flash, and image capabilities or are you saying that the alternative is to use Vfx for those features?

The plugin is free for Vfx user. You only need to buy a CrossDJ or Cross licence. If you don't use timecode, take the CrossDJ (cheaper)

Not this version, may be an upcoming one but not wished by users to only mix video like audio.

3. Is there a visualizer in the Video Plug In for Cross?

No but you can put whatever video on whatever audio or the other way.

4. How long will the free Video Plug In offer last for Vfx users.

Till december 31st if I remember well.

not put in the posting as to such,,that seems to be open ended ,, the 31 cut off looks to be only for the 50% price reduction,, i may be wrong ,, but i didnt get that understanding from the posting

You aren't wrong plugin is free without time limit for Vfx users

I use the two together.
crossdj to mix video
Vfx for text, flash, and webcam photos

Thanks everyone, I have a clearer picture now.

I would definitely like to have the visualizer, text, image, and flash options if possible with the plug in. I use all 4 at just about every event and club and I would hate to lose it.
