Dear Forum members,

We are happy to announce you the public release of our newest software: MixVibes Video Plug-in.

“Mix Video like Music“

Play, mix and scratch video files straight into CrossDJ, using MIDI controllers or timecode. Based on 4 years of research in video mixing, MixVibes Video Plug-in is the easiest way to incorporate video into your setup. Each audio action will automatically affect the video, so you can focus on the music and take your mix to the next dimension.
The Video Plug-in integrates seamlessly within CrossDJ: each player gets a video preview and the mixer can be switched from audio to video. The Video Plug-in can be deactivated at any moment, returning to the regular audio-only appearance of CrossDJ.

Features
• MixVibes Video plug-in runs inside CrossDJ / Cross 2.2
• All player actions affect the video (scratch, loops, locators...)
• Mixer actions can be linked to video transitions effects
• Over 20 video effects
• Music and video can be loaded separately
• 1080p HD support and output on a second monitor
• Supported formats .mov, .mp4, .avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .m4v, .mkv, .vob, .flv, .divx, .webm and .wmv.
• Free video content on our forum’s download center (downloads.php?cat=79)

DEAR MIXVIBES,

I have doubt regarding the video plugin. Can you select clips on the fly and change them while performing by dropping them on the blank video screen while mp3 is being played on the same deck?? or do we have to do work by attaching clips before each performance??

Just tested it, and as long as you don't have security activated and you have allowed 'Separate Audio/Video loading' is does work.
You simply drag & drop (or keyboard/MIDI) your video into the video frame of the deck.

We doesn't manage 'linked' medias.

Have mixed long afternoons (as most of the release we do) with the plugin on a C2D / 4mb with a 9400-256mb and nothing special about it.
