If u are not using things like quantize,disable it. Try updating your g card drivers also. Short term fix. runs ok on my old AMD duron dual core toshiba. See if you need a defrag on your hd too ,Dan. Might help a touch.

:cool: :cool: still playing around ,, loaded every deck,both sample pads,playing all samples in loop and running both effects ,just to see how its reacts,,, funny to see a warning from norton antivirus saying the software has high cpu usage,, will look into the quantise tip also i de frag on a weekly basis,,no fret ,,,just getting /giving info :cool: :cool:

Switch to a "lighter" Anti-virus mate, Norton is a right greedy hog on your system resources. Get rid ;)

AVG or Avast are very good alternatives to Norton - been using them both for years without a problem.

agreed. Yeah norton is the one hogging your cpu. Its a shocker. Try running 'cccleaner' through your PC. Free, and also lets you remove unwanted applications from your start up boot, which might help out
