Every Club (at least in Germany) has wifi or cabled Internet Access for the DJ if needed.
Iam very sure that placing a Network cable to the DJ will be no Problem at all for a lot of clubs worldwide...

Am i really the only one here that identifies the big potential of a spotify integration into Cross or why am i Hearing only something like "Licensing, youtube, two Laptops etc..."?!

I would Love to get a reply of the mv staff if this idea is going to get implemented in the Future or not (And of course the reasons).

Thanks in advance

There is the reply!

Anyways, In a perfect world of no copywrite and other licensing issues, hell i would like spotify in there :) ......but
for me personally, I think there are important things to being a DJ - not being a request line, nor a jukebox - but being yourself and voicing your own style rather than that of others voices.
If they like the sound of your voice, its such an amazing feeling :D ....if they don't, well they can leave....they don't have to hang around if it bothers them that much...
'You cant please all of the people all of the time' ;)

That's just my point of view, and i am not trying to be rude to anyone here.
Just trying to push artistic expression, and individuality to create ;) :D  .
Spotify is awesome, but i don't think i would use it at a gig myself.
Cheers

Technically it is possible, we did a prototype some time ago.

Now, to go further we need spotify's agreement.

It is possible since some companies did commercial product , like logitech squeezbox.
