Speakers go to 1/2, headphones connect in the front.
If you press cue, only this track should play in the headphones if the mix-cue is set to zero. The more you turn the mix-cue the more you will hear the song that plays over the speakers.
audio routing mode dual stero , the outputs from the controller 1 &2 should connect to your system speakers , the headphone jack will hear the outputs of the cue section if the routing is set for channel 3&4, the headphone buttons can be controled by the controller or by the gui, if you have either player headphone hightligghted they will play thru the headphones, you have to un hightlight the heaphone cue from the player you dont want to hear , the master mix knob on the front should work as j cut sescribed . if you look on the product page under U-Mix Control and go to doccuments ther is a larger easier to read set up manual which goes thru all of this with pictures of different set ups and very detailed info as to setting it up properly

Had the same problem as you mate, was like 1 hour trying to get it work but then i saw on my Cross DJ program that the knob on the right side of the MIX/VOL knob was tured down to 0
