MIDI Control With CDJ 350

Postby choppe on 25 Apr 2012, 03:03

Hi,
Im trying to set up my Pioneer cdj/djm 350 through MIDI control and having problems. Once i connect the decks to the computer using a usb cable it seems that both decks only control deck A on the computer. How can i control both Deck A and B? Also a soundcard isnt neccessary for this is it? sorry if these questions are stupid im new to this!

Hey,

I don't have this pioneers but to my knowledge you have to set at the second player the MIDI to deck b , also check if player two has the right mapping file.

You need a sound card to rout your sound to the mixer if this have no build in interface for two channel usage. I'm currently online with my mobile phone at work so I can't check for more information.

Regards
Christian

Put the left deck to MIDI channel 1, the right deck to MIDI channel 2.
Use the latest Pioneer asio driver and both deck will be used has a 4 outputs soundcard.
