Postby Boog Da Don on 23 Mar 2012, 02:48

is there a way to stay in absolute mode. everytime i use the cue on my keyboard it goes back to relative. and usualy when i click on absolute during the song it fastforwards to the end of the song.

is there any way of keeping it in absolute mode whilst still using keyboard.

No, absolute mode means that the track position is the same as the timecode position. If you use the keyboard you change the track position but not the timecode position, so it´s not possible to stay in absolute mode.

In the Preferences under the conrtol tab, you'll see the following.

Take a look at the attached picture :)

But It will help to find you the best solution if you tell us what timecode stuff you use (Vinyl or CD).
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
