Hi guys,
i have the problem that i try to import my iTunes playlist into Cross 1.7.1 on my mac and the ratings of all songs do not get imported of all songs...I import 830 Songs and 350 do not have any rating in Cross while all songs in that playlist have a rating within iTunes...
can you help me with this problem, cause rating them in Cross again would cost me tons of time :-/
Kind regards

unfortunately this hint doesnt work :-(
I also noticed that the ID3-Tags of the imported songs are not the ones that are in iTunes... it seems that the import uses older versions of the mp3s...i once renewed all of the tags (album information etc.) and the old album information tag within the mp3 is being imported while it is not there anymore in the real mp3...iTunes is displaying it the right way but the import is not working well :-(
I tried also to rename the lists, create new ones etc...but nothing worked...
EDIT: I got the solution... i deleted all lists and mp3s within the library and imported the new playlists again. I think that Cross doesnt update the id3-tag if i import a new playlist...Instead it uses older information of already once imported songs.

Hannes wrote:No garantuee it´s gonna work, but try it:
-open iTunes -select all your tunes in itune -press cmd+i for the info to pop open -press ok (that´ll change none of the tags, but it´ll make write/update iTunes everything again) -close iTunes after the update -open Cross -start a new collection or clear the current one -import the tracks again
-> all info should be there.
got this issue on 2.3 and did what you said. it works, but all the locators (cue points) dissapear. how to do the same without losing those data? thanks!
